How does Invisalign® work?

Free Consultation

At your initial consultation, we will assess your teeth and gums. We will then take 3D digital images of your teeth which will show how your teeth will move and look once treatment has finished. These digital images form the basis of your Invisalign® treatment plan and will be used to custom make your unique aligners which will fit your teeth exactly.

Treatment

Once your Invisalign® aligners are ready, we will invite you back to the surgery in Rickmansworth to show you how to wear your aligners. You may find it strange at first, but you will soon get used to wearing your removable braces.

Finally

Wear your Invisalign® aligners for a minimum of 20 hours a day and change them on a weekly basis to the next set in the series. This allows for the small movement in your teeth. Wear your aligners until your teeth have reached their final position and you can show off your stunning
new smile.
